It's TRUE!

As I read the article I kept thinking to myself hopefully no language changes with the Internet will not happen in my day. I agree that for now English is the dominant and basic language on the Internet but I do not agree that even with new “Relationship Technology” emerging English speaking people will need to get translation programs in order to keep up with the changes of global communication.

Its True!

Fewer than 10 percent of Internet users speak English as their first language but most are competent in English. To my understanding it only makes perfect sense for future changes to be for the majority.I understand why companies are creating new ways of communicating across the Internet since emoticons are not the easiest thing to use.

And...

I can understand companies trying to find innovative ways to connect the globe but I just do not see any purpose in changing something like the language when the language barrier is nearly broken.
